Lifehook® L-Series: Model# L5508P through L5510G
The L-Series Lifehook® anchor is a key component of a personal fall arrest system for training unqualified pole climbing apprentices. These devices are pole-top mounted anchors that have a 360º rotating davit. Full circumference mobility provides complete fall protection to the climber as they move up, down, and completely around the utility pole.
The installation bracket of the L55 has been designed to reinforce the upper section of the utility pole. Under repeated fall arrest force, Lifehook® products will not require ongoing adjustments to remain level. There are two standard bracket sizes to choose from, and custom size brackets are available by special order.

The lightweight L55 davit rotates quickly and predictably to remain aligned above the climber to prevent a dangerous swing fall. The SRL attachment point on the L55 is offset several additional inches over competing products. This assures the line remains behind the climber’s center of gravity and safely distances their body from impact with the pole. The open, low-profile davit design is also less susceptible to prevailing winds.

Only on heavy-duty Lifehook® L55 anchors can you get the protection of durable hot dip galvanizing. Galvanizing stands up better to heavy use, requires less maintenance, and far outlasts paint or powder-coated finishes. Galvanizing provides an outstanding level of corrosion resistance, a consideration for service in severe urban or coastal environments. If galvanizing is not preferred, the L55 can be provided with a standard royal blue finish.
The current Lifehook® L55 models are third generation designs of the original 1986 invention. There are no other lineman training anchors on the market that are more durable or dependable than genuine Lifehook® systems. For the training of unqualified pole climbing apprentices, the Lifehook® L-Series is the fall protection system that started it all.
